    9. Visit the theatre where Mozart and Haydn conducted

    The baroque Schlosstheater is part of Vienna's University of Music and Performing Arts. Haydn and Mozart conducted their works here and several operas by Gluck were premièred on its stage.

    10. Salute the Waltz King

    The statue of composer Johann Strauss II can be visited in Vienna's Stadtpark gardens. Strauss and his family were largely responsible for the popularity of the waltz in Vienna during the 19th century.
