Rhydian Roberts got a "no" fom Dannii at the audition stage of X Factor, was described as "arrogrant" by Sharon Osborne during boot camp but still went on to reach the final. Rhydian's songs included a full theatrical performance of "The Phantom of the Opera", Pink's "Get The Party Started" and the Village People's "Go West". In the final Rhydian sang a duet with Katherine Jenkins but finished runner up to Leon Jackson.
