Smooth Classics at Seven with Zeb Soanes 7pm - 10pm
The operatic tenor performed some of his best music including 'Time To Say Goodbye', 'Nessun dorma', and 'Amazing Grace', live at The Roundhouse in Camden, London. He was supported by soprano Laura Wright and guitar duo CARisMA.
One of London's most popular gig venues, the Roundhouse is hosting the iTunes Festival 2012. The line-up includes pop stars Example, One Direction, and Jessie J, as well as classical stars.
Glamourous hostess, Classic FM's Myleene Klass, gave the audience a bit of background to the pieces, telling the stories of opera and interacting with the crowd.
A full orchestra accompanied Andrea as he performed tenor favourites, starting with the beautiful 'O Sole Mio'. It's a Neapolitan classic, described by presenter Myleene Klass as an unofficial Italian national anthem.

Andrea Bocelli performed the beautiful hymn to a backdrop of glittering stars, falling on the screens behind him.
Andrea tackles the heights of Donizetti's aria from the opera 'La Fille du Régiment'. It's an impressive display of high notes from the tenor.
Andrea duets with Gianfranco Montresor, singing the Pearl Fishers duet by Bizet. The operatic song, 'Au fond du temple saint' celebrates friendship.
Baritone Gianfranco Montresor joins Andrea on stage for Bizet's friendly duet. This year saw his Covent Garden debut, and he frequently performs opera around the world.
Andrea is joined on stage by the beautiful soprano Sabina Cvilak. They are accompanied by a full choir.
The two singers perform the rousing drinking song 'Libiamo ne' lieti calici' from Verdi's opera, 'La Traviata'. The audience sway and bob in time to the music!

Andrea has sold more than 75 million records worldwide - it's no wonder the Roundhouse in Camden, London was full of appreciative people. Lots of audience members sang along, even to the Italian songs!

The British Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied the singing, conducted by Carlo Bernini. The Crouch End Festival Chorus performed in the chorus numbers.
Andrea and Sabina return to the stage for his well-loved hit, 'Time to Say Goodbye'. The song has sold millions of copies worldwide, and is now considered Bocelli's signature song.
Andrea tackles one of the best-known tenor songs, which has been performed by famous singers including Luciano Pavarotti, Russell Watson, and Alfie Boe.
The audience hummed along and cheered as Andrea performed Puccini's popular song. The powerful song is taken from the opera 'Turandot', where the unknown prince Calaf falls in love at first sight with Princess Turandot.
After his performance of 'Nessun dorma', Andrea Bocelli takes a bow to rapturous applause and cheering, with maestro Carlo Bernini.
